I’m not one for leaving negative comments, but I am a big believer in sharing feedback where I feel improvements can be made…
Two visits in two weeks, to conduct a water sample and buy some chemicals to winterize my pool. First attempt, and the doors were locked at 2:35pm upon my arrival last Saturday afternoon, due to someone being on a break, I assume. The sign stated they’d be back at 2:40. I remained until 2:55pm, with doors locked and no one returning.
Today, was my 2nd attempt. Granted I turned up at 4:50pm, 10-minutes prior to closing, but the water sample test machine is apparently not operational after 4:30pm on Saturdays. Murphy’s law I suppose. Instead of a regular greeting, I received “No water testing“. My day is going great, thank you asking!
The tipping point for me was the fact that they showed zero remorse or apology for the events on the weekend prior, after explaining and looking for some empathy.
I need to share my sincere disappointment in the level of customer service from this establishment. I’ve been coming here for years now, and the drive is 17-minutes each way. This has left a bad taste in mouth. Thank you for listening.

I went to get my pool water tested today and all of the staff there were so helpful. I walked out in 15 minutes, knowing exactly the chemicals that I needed to add to my pool and now it is crystal clear and beautiful.

Nice friendly staff greeted me today. This is a family owned, family run business, and also run with other helping people. They have been working with all types of pools in this area for many years. West Coast has some nice pool accessories, like amimal temperature gauges, they call them an animal thermometer which floats in the pool. Thanks .....

I can fix 95% of things 95% of the time, and this hot tub issue was giving me too much grief to struggle any further.
The service at the South Surrey location has been so helpful and easy on me that next time around I’ll have the wisdom to just call the right away. The only reason I didn’t this time is because back in july I’d have wait 4 months just to get a tech to come to my home.
Long story-short. In-store is great, booking is great, payment is great.
Just go straight there.
